Lead Pipe Replacement Assistance Program (LPRAP)

The utility does the work

Pays: Up to a 100% discount on replacing the private side of the line when it is lead, galvanized, or brass, while funding lasts.

Who qualifies: Owners whose private-side line is lead, galvanized, or brass and whose public-side line is already not lead.

Who does the work: The owner contracts with the program's contractor or an approved contractor.

Pays: The full cost of replacing the private-side lead pipe when DC Water replaces the public side during a main project.
